Basically, if you choose you’ll be assigned a character to play, complete with a backstory and a motive for possibly committing the murder. As the night goes on, you’ll receive clues and tasks that’ll help you gather more information about the crime and the suspects involved.
You’ll get to interact with the other guests and ask questions to try and solve the mystery. At some point, the “murder” will happen, and it’s up to you and your fellow detectives to piece together the clues and figure out who did it.
Once you think you have solved the case, you can make your accusations and see if you were right. It’s all in good fun, and even if you don’t solve the mystery, you’re sure to have a great time with your friends or meeting new people.
